A 15–30 minute call to understand your home, your vision, your budget, and your timeline. We'll recommend the right service and answer any questions before any commitment is made.

2 | Proposal & agreement
You receive a detailed proposal outlining your service package, design fee, projected furnishing budget, timeline, and deliverables. A 50% deposit secures your project date.
Days 2–5
3 | Style intake + questionnaire
You complete our in-depth design questionnaire and share photos of your space, existing pieces you want to keep, and any inspiration that speaks to you. For Full Service clients, we may schedule an in-home walkthrough.
Days 5–10
4 | Design Development
We develop your full design concept — mood board, floor plan, shopping list, paint guide, and for Full Service clients, 3D renderings. You review and provide feedback before anything is finalized.
Days 10–21
5 | Revisions + approval
One full revision round is included in every package. We refine selections based on your feedback until the design feels completely right before anything is ordered.
Days 21-25
6 | Procurement + coordination (full service)
With your design approved, we place all orders through our trade accounts. You approve the final furnishing budget before anything ships. We manage every delivery and resolve any issues along the way.
Weeks 4-8. Varies by lead times.
7 | Installation + handoff (full service)
EFaith Studio arrives on installation day to assemble, place, and style every element. We finish with a walkthrough, a care guide, and a space that's ready to be lived in and loved.

How is residential pricing different from Airbnb services?
Residential design is priced at a higher rate than our STR services because the scope is different — residential projects involve deeper personalization, longer client relationships, more complex decision-making across finishes and materials, and a higher standard of finish quality. Virtual E-Design starts at $650/room (vs. $400 for STR), and Full Service is $1,450/room — reflective of the additional time, detail, and care each residential project requires.
How is Designer for a Day different from a regular consultation?
A standard design consultation is typically 1–2 hours and results in general advice. Designer for a Day is a full 6–7 hour working session where we actually do things — rearrange furniture, make specific color decisions, curate shopping lists, and develop a complete action plan. You leave with a written summary of every decision made. It's designed for clients who need momentum and decisions, not just ideas.
Do you work on individual rooms, or just whole-home projects?
Both. We take on single-room projects as well as full-home transformations. There's no minimum number of rooms — just a minimum design fee of $650 (virtual) or $1,450 (full service) per engagement. Many clients start with one room and return for additional spaces once they see the result.
What's included in the design fee vs. the furnishings budget?
The design fee covers our time, expertise, and project management — concept development, sourcing, procurement, and installation. The furnishing budget is what you spend on the actual furniture, lighting, rugs, accessories, and materials. The two are always quoted separately and transparently.
Do you offer Designer for a Day outside of Charlotte?
Yes — Designer for a Day is available nationwide. Travel, accommodation, and logistics are billed at cost and quoted upfront before you book. Many clients outside Charlotte find that the design fee plus travel still represents exceptional value compared to local boutique designers who charge significantly more per day.
What does a typical full-home project cost in total?
For a full-service whole-home project, most clients invest $40,000–$100,000+ in design fees and furnishings combined, depending on the size of the home, the level of finish, and how much existing furniture is being retained. A single full-service room typically ranges from $10,000–$25,000 all-in. Virtual E-Design is significantly more accessible, with most single-room projects coming in between $5,000–$12,000 including furnishings.
Can I use my existing furniture, or do I need to start fresh?
Absolutely — we work with existing pieces whenever they serve the design. Part of our process includes a thorough review of what you already have. Good quality, on-brand pieces are incorporated into the new design, which often meaningfully reduces your furnishing budget. We'll be honest about what's worth keeping and what's holding the space back.
