30-min planning call
Before your session, we connect to review your home, set priorities, and ensure every hour of the day is spent on what matters most to you.
6–7 hours on-site
Full-day, in-person design consultation in your home. We work through rooms together in real time — making decisions as we go.
Furniture rearrangement
We physically rearrange existing furniture during the visit so you can see and feel the difference immediately — not imagine it.
Color + finish decisions
Paint colors, finish selections, and material recommendations made decisively with professional context and your home's specific light.
Shopping recommendations
Specific, prioritized buying guidance — what to purchase, where to find it, and how to budget for maximum impact.
Written session summary
A follow-up document with every recommendation, decision, and action item from the day so nothing gets forgotten or lost.
HOW IT WORKS
A process designed to feel effortless
1 | Free discovery call
A 15–30 minute call to understand your home, your vision, your budget, and your timeline. We'll recommend the right service and answer any questions before any commitment is made.
Day 1 · Free · No commitment
2 | Proposal & agreement
You receive a detailed proposal outlining your service package, design fee, projected furnishing budget, timeline, and deliverables. A 50% deposit secures your project date.
Days 2–5
3 | Style intake + questionnaire
You complete our in-depth design questionnaire and share photos of your space, existing pieces you want to keep, and any inspiration that speaks to you. For Full Service clients, we may schedule an in-home walkthrough.
Days 5–10
4 | Design Development
We develop your full design concept — mood board, floor plan, shopping list, paint guide, and for Full Service clients, 3D renderings. You review and provide feedback before anything is finalized.
Days 10–21
5 | Revisions + approval
One full revision round is included in every package. We refine selections based on your feedback until the design feels completely right before anything is ordered.
Days 21-25
6 | Procurement + coordination (full service)
With your design approved, we place all orders through our trade accounts. You approve the final furnishing budget before anything ships. We manage every delivery and resolve any issues along the way.
Weeks 4-8. Varies by lead times.
7 | Installation + handoff (full service)
EFaith Studio arrives on installation day to assemble, place, and style every element. We finish with a walkthrough, a care guide, and a space that's ready to be lived in and loved.
Installation day. Project complete.

Answers to what clients ask most
How does the design fee work for residential projects?
Our design fee covers all creative work, space planning, concept development, procurement management, and installation — everything from first mood board to final styling. The fee is confirmed per room on your discovery call based on your specific scope. Furniture, decor, and furnishings are a separate budget that we help you plan and prioritize to get the most out of your investment.
How is Designer for a Day different from a regular consultation?
A standard design consultation is typically 1–2 hours and results in general advice. Designer for a Day is a full 6–7 hour working session where we actually do things — rearrange furniture, make specific color decisions, curate shopping lists, and develop a complete action plan. You leave with a written summary of every decision made. It's designed for clients who need momentum and decisions, not just ideas.
How do I get started?
Fill out our design inquiry form — it takes about 3 minutes and covers the basics: which space(s) you want designed, your timeline, and your goals. We'll follow up within one business day to schedule your free 15-minute discovery call. No pressure, no obligation — just a conversation to see if we're the right fit for each other.
What should I budget for furniture and decor?
Furnishing budgets depend entirely on the size of your home, your style direction, and what you already own that's worth keeping. Through our trade accounts, your budget will typically go further than you'd expect shopping retail. We'll provide a realistic furnishing estimate on your discovery call, and nothing is ordered without your approval. You're never locked into spending more than you're comfortable with.
Do you offer Designer for a Day outside of Charlotte?
Yes — Designer for a Day is available nationwide. Travel, accommodation, and logistics are billed at cost and quoted upfront before you book. Many clients outside Charlotte find that the design fee plus travel still represents exceptional value compared to local boutique designers who charge significantly more per day.
Can you work with furniture I already own?
Absolutely — and we encourage it. We review your existing pieces at the start of the project and incorporate anything that fits the design direction, is in good condition, and is worth keeping. Many clients are surprised by how much existing furniture works beautifully in the new design. We'll always be honest about pieces that aren't serving the space so you can make an informed decision.
Can I start with just one room?
Of course. Many of our best long-term client relationships started with a single room. There's no minimum scope — every project, whether it's one room or a full home, receives the same level of care and attention. And when you're ready to do the next room, we'll already know your style inside and out.
